NEW PICS --- Good bye to the Homestays

 Parents and Friends, It was a great ending to two awesome days in the homestays. We had a soccer game, party, and cooking classes. We are now here at a hotel and giving the kids a well deserved pool day at a beautiful hotel surrouded by sugar cane plantations and views of the smoking Turrialba Volcano. As were were leaving the village some of the students had tears leaving the homestays. Its a good life in Sitio de Mata. If it was more on the map it would be one of the blue zones because we have three people over the age of 100. In a population of 300 that is pretty good.  Here are some pictures of the last 24 hours of cooking, festivities, and a little taste of home...hanging out in the pool!
